Top 10 Hottest Football Couples of 2015

#10. Gareth Bale and Emma Rhys-Jones
Evidence that fame cannot get between true love, Bale and Rhys-Jones have been together since childhood.

They have moved across Britain and now to Spain due to Gareth’s career but always ensure they put their relationship and children before anything else.

They both prefer a night in to a night sampling the infamous Madrid nightlife and often return to their Welsh hometown when their schedules allow.

#9. Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy

Crouch and Clancy have been together since 2006, and she was a member of the controversial England WAGs group at that year’s World Cup.

Since then the couple have got married and had a daughter, Sophia, together.

Crouch once famously quipped when asked by a reporter that he would be a virgin if he wasn’t a footballer.

It’s fair to say that his football career certainly helped him gain the attention of the 2013 Strictly Come Dancing winner.

#8. Wayne Bridge and Frankie Sandford

Bridge’s private life came to the attention of the media when it was revealed his ex-girlfriend had had an affair with his teammate and former friend, John Terry.

Since then it is fair to say Bridge has been far happier. He met Sandford in 2010 during his time at Manchester City. Sandford is famous in her own right, firstly as a member of S-Club Junior and now as a current member of The Saturdays.

The couple married last summer and have one child together, Parker Bridge.

#7. Iker Casillas and Sara Cabonero

Casillas, a mainstay of the Real Madrid team and current club captain, started dating Cabonero, a sports journalist in 2009.

Their relationship caused controversy in 2010 when it was alleged Cabonero’s presence pitch-side had distracted Casillas during Spain’s shock World Cup defeat to Switzerland.

Cabonero’s integrity was then questioned when she interviewed Casillas following the match.

The claims of distraction were later found to be entirely untrue. Since then the couple have had a son, Martin, who was born in January 2010.

#6. Wesley Sneijder and Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau

#5. Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley

#4. Gerard Pique and Shakira

#3. Steven and Alex Gerrard

#2. Lionel Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo

#1. David and Victoria Beckham

Whilst David is no longer a footballer, it is impossible to over look the Beckham brand in any list of football couples. The pair are testament to the fact that even with the glare of the public eye, it is possible to create a relatively normal family atmosphere.

When they first got together in 1997 they arguably became football’s first power couple. Victoria drew much criticism during the 2006 World Cup for her role as lead WAG at the tournament; however this has not dented their appeal.

Since retirement David has concentrated on his role as UNICEF ambassador and establishing his own MLS franchise, whilst Victoria has become a respected fashion designer.

The couple have four children together, boys Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, who all play for Arsenal’s youth academy, and a daughter, Harper.
